At Cumnor Pre-School Nursery we believe that every child deserves the best possible start in life and the support that enables them to fulfil their potential. We believe a secure, safe and happy childhood, good parenting and high quality early learning will provide the foundation children need to achieve this.

The Early Years Foundation Stage

Our aim is to provide a secure and stimulating environment in which children learn through play, using a variety of educational toys and equipment.

We believe that each child is unique; that each child needs to develop positive relationships; that the environment is essential in supporting and extending each child's development and that each child learns in different ways and in different rates across the seven key EYFS areas of learning and development.

Within and beyond these guidelines we aim to stimulate the children's learning in a safe and secure environment with plenty of adult support.
