Our nursery is located within the grounds of Cumnor Primary School in the heart of Cumnor village, surrounded by open fields in the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside. We are a separate organisation from the School but with close links. However there is no formal catchment area and the nursery happily accepts children who will eventually go on to attend a different local primary school.

We offer part-time pre-school education for children aged two to four years. Children can start at the nursery after their second birthday. All ages may attend mornings only or full-day depending on availability. Afternoon only sessions are available for our oldest children. Fuller details are available on the ‘Admissions’ page.

Our staff are highly qualified ( majority are Level 3 or above) in nursery education, and the team has a wealth of experience, and is committed to the welfare and development of every child.

Cumnor Pre-school is a registered charity managed entirely by a voluntary committee of parents, which aims to provide excellent nursery care for the benefit of local parents at a reasonable cost. It is also a member of the Early Years Alliance. Nursery fees cover staff salaries and some day to day expenses whilst the acquisition of learning materials and equipment is met by fundraising.
